Here are the points to keep in mind for those unfinished jacket cuffs.

* 1. When you place your arms at your sides, the sleeve should hit right where your thumb meets your wrist. Only ¼” to ½” of the shirt cuff should be showing.

* 2. To test for comfort and mobility, bring your arms straight out in front of you. The sleeves should pull back past your shirt cuffs and appear too short. If you have trouble straightening your arms, the suit’s back and armholes might be too tight. Consider buying a suit a size larger and tailoring down the rest so you can move comfortably at your board meetings.
